"Pioneer JOAD is a organized and well run organization. The instructors are knowledgeable, the facilities are clean and spacious. My daughter has been involved in Pioneer JOAD for over three years. The program and solid instruction has enabled her to improve her archery skills and be the best archer she can. She has been able to compete in local and national tournaments. The sessions are very convenient and take school calendars and vacations into consideration. "The coaches are really helpful and because there are several coaches at each class, I always feel like I get personal attention. Pioneer JOAD supports all archers at their own unique skill level. Those who are newer to the club may receive training that is different from those who are ready to compete in a national tournament. My son started training with the Pioneer JOAD club 5 years ago. While he was training outside at the 15 meter target, I looked down the shooting line and was amazed as I watched other Pioneer archers shooting 60 meters. The coach told me that my son would eventually get there. I thought to myself that would be beyond challenging. Today, my son is competing at 60 meters in state, regional, and national archery tournaments. The process works. If an archer is willing to put in the time and effort, and is willing to be coached, any Pioneer archer can become a successful. Very personalized, high quality instruction makes the experience both rewarding and fun.
